A common thread on the runways of New York’s Spring/Summer 2012 shows was an homage to classic beauty, with a look reminiscent of the 50s. While we loved Prada’s feminine skirts in soft hues and Rodarte’s flowing dresses with sunflower prints, what we especially loved were the soft waves that accessorized the outfits perfectly. Tucked behind the ears, the hair was girlish and natural. We all know though, it takes effort to look this effortless.

How to get the hair:

A great style starts with a great foundation. To enhance your natural-born waves,  in damp hair, work in a quarter-size amount of  AG’s Recoil Curl Activator diffuse or air dry. To create curls you weren’t born with, AG’s Spray Gel should be on the top of your list and sprayed on dry hair before using an iron. Once hair has cooled or dried, break apart using your fingers, tease and tousle as desired.
