Holiday Hair Revamp

Holiday celebrations are here, and with our busy schedules we want our hair looking great without too much fuss. Hairstyles need to last while we’re checking off our shopping list to running from one holiday party to the next. A look that’s both clean and fashion-forward (as seen on the Fall 2016 runways of Rebecca Minkoff and Rachel Zoe) is an effortless braid. The perfect companion to a holiday dress or a casual outfit, let us show you how to achieve this year’s much-loved plait.

Unpolished Plait

1. Start the style on second – or third – day hair; your hair will have more grit, flexibility and movement to it. Spray Simply Dry Shampoo, or any of our other flavours, throughout your hair to absorb any oil, and to add volume.

2. Mist some Revamp through the ends of your hair, to aid in the braiding process. Revamp will also add shine, and calm down any frizz you may have.

3. Pull your hair back loosely, and create a braid, pulling it to one side. Let the pieces around the front fall out naturally, and pull out a few extra as you see fit. Wrap the loose pieces lightly around a curling iron to achieve magnificent face-framing waves.

4. Lightly pull on your braid to give it a fuller effect, and create a messier, unfussed look. Finish off your style with some more Revamp throughout. This will help hold your style in place, while still allowing flexibility.

What’s In It

Revamp is infused with keratin amino acids, which penetrate the hair shaft, bonding, repairing, and smoothing hair, while adding strength and elasticity. It’s low alcohol formula is the perfect solution for voluminous, moisture-fueled locks. It will never build up or flake, and will provide humidity protection during those cold, wet winter days.
