Day to Night

Go from 9-5 to a night out on the town with no fuss hair that’s perfect for the modern minimalist. Read our how-to guide on transforming salon-worthy waves into a dreamy updo in the blink of an eye, with the help of AG’s Rosehip Balm and Dry Lift, of course.

Afternoon

Apply a dime sized amount of Rosehip Balm hair dry lotion to your hair (a little bit goes a long way), focusing on the ends. Rosehip oil helps smooth, calm and seal the hair cuticle, for a smooth, frizz-free blow-out. With a large size round brush, blow-dry hair, pulling hair up and away from face for voluminous waves. Add some Dry Lift texture and volume paste into roots for gritty volume, and rub into ends for definition, separation and texture.

Night

Change out of that blazer, and slip into a little black dress, and rub a little more Dry Lift into ends to add grip and control when creating an updo. Comb hair back loosely with fingers, still keeping wave and texture, and create a low pony. Add a loose braid to pony, and wrap plait around elastic for a textured finish. Pull a few pieces out around the front for a romantic, softer feel.
