Ganze Girls Secondary School – Kenya

Seventy percent of the people in Northern Kenya live below the poverty line and cannot meet basic needs for food, water, shelter, sanitation, education and health care.

Atanga School – Northern Uganda

With 2 million people in refugee camps for over 20 years, there were virtually no schools left to go to after the war.

Ushirika School – Nairobi, Kenya

In the Kibera slums, schooling is rare, and when available, the physical condition of the classrooms is deplorable

Patongo School – Northern Uganda

After 22 years of violent war in North Uganda, the first priority in the resettlement process was education for their children.

Ndemu School – Nanyuki, Kenya

When we first visited this school, the latrines had collapsed and the children were forced to use the surrounding woods.
